Staying the track, and focused always on the One thing, true Salvation in freedom. The daily battle that entices us to fear, and manipulation of the heart is the result. Pain of all kinds, no other method of relief, other than that is to, defy oneself at the mercy of gratification. At the root, a burning desire of a fulfillment that will embrace all wounds and remove the stains, burns, and bruises. Just for only a moment, to feel the presence and warmth of a gentle hand. Even still, seeing the beauty of wonder, on the other hand choosing the horrid terror at the hands of destruction. Inner most being longing for clarity to the vision that is the very war of Armageddon within the soul, felt by flesh, fearing awe in spirit. It is then the reality sets in of Truth, it is the daily battle of defeat left with one conclusion of having such a close grasp and yet, having the distance that prevents.” ~KrizG~
REFLECTION
Have you ever felt like you have a goal that you are so close to achieving, yet to end of the race seems unattainable? I think it is safe to say that we have all come to that place at a crossroad where we must decide to keep going in faith or give up in frustration relating to our personal goals or needs of life. I am guilty of feeling this what feels like every month LOL. In and out of this nagging emotion, I have found that most of it is deception from my own impatience and fear. Wanting to rush the end, like somehow, I am confident that I would be able to handle it all if it actually came and showed up. An example of this would be trying to be a doctor without med school, or a lawyer without taking the bar. Ridiculous I know, and yet, inevitably we are all still guilty of it daily. No shame in your “humanism”. Own it, accept it, and make change to develop a different perspective towards being the difference that the world needs now more than ever.
REALITY
Now, I do not know if you would feel comfortable having open-heart surgery from a doctor that does not have a degree, but I am going to say I would most definitely pass on that, HA! Really think about it. How could we fully function in our craft or calling if we do not properly position ourselves to receive the necessary skills and tools to be successful? If that is what we would expect from others, then what makes “self” any different? We have the power of choice that can go in the way of positive or negative responses to any given situation. According to Newton’s Third Law of Motion, “For every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction.” This statement basically means that in every interaction, there is a pair of forces or actions that act on the two interacting or conflicting objects. In simple terms, everything has a reaction, or in this case, a consequence.
REVELATION
If we were to take an honest look inward, you could probably see that you have had some reservations about your purpose and goals un-achieved which led to your guidance through fear or impatience just like me. Or maybe you find instead that you have been prideful, or resentful, or demanding. You might be the type of person that is strong and assertive, or meek and passive. Whatever your personality, one thing is for sure. WE ARE ALL HUMAN WITH FLESH THAT BURNS. We all come to the place on our path where we feel our goal so close, yet we are so far because we are not ready, or equipped, or trained or simply just insecure or scared. We can either qualified or disqualified in life, but who really decides that?
RESTORATION
Do you really think you are disqualified because you are scared or insecure? Absolutely not! Let me just stop you right there and shame the devil over the lies he has told you, and tell what Jesus says about you, even if you do not say anything about Him. In Jeremiah 1:5 (ESV), the prophet speaks the words declared by Jesus Christ Himself saying, “Before I formed you in the womb, I knew you, and before you were born, I consecrated you; I appointed you a prophet to the nations.”. Did you catch that last part? He APPOINTED YOU! So just know, since God called you, no one can stop you except you. And before you start thinking about another lie you have believed from the enemy, let me give you another truth. There is nothing that you have done, are doing, or will do that can separate you from God. He will never stop loving you. Romans 8:38-39 (ESV) says, “For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.” What is the bottom line here? No one, not even you, has the power to stop God from loving you, or the fact that He chose you long ago to be the light that this hurting world would see, receiving hope for the generations to come. For the purpose to defeat the lies and the plans of destruction set up by our enemy, the devil, who waits for his opportunity to strike you when you are most fearful, and insecure. No matter what you feel, no matter what you see in front of you, no matter how far your goals seem, choose today to be in faith, choose today to be hopeful, choose today to walk in love, especially for yourself. (1 Corinthians 13:13)
